No Google? No problem.

zukka runs fully on de-Googled Android — GrapheneOS, /e/OS, LineageOS and the like. It needs no Google Mobile Services: on phones without them, zukka keeps its own encrypted connection alive instead of relying on Google's push, so your messages and calls still arrive in real time — with no Google in the loop. (The trade-off is a little more battery from that always-on connection.)
